The Daylight Thieves
The Daylight Thieves consist of names familiar to Prince George indie rock fans. Derek Joyce brings his master songwriting and captivating vocals, Justin Arding has tight beats and badass tattoos, Reigan Brown contributes riveting guitar licks and soaring lead lines, and David Morgan ties it all together in the low end, grooving out on the bass. The Daylight Thieves’ show is “a true musical experience…energy, charisma, and crowd appeal…great, local homegrown talent you need to see.”
Amy Wyn Blanding and Saltwater Hank
Amy Wyn Blanding sings music with an unbridled, often unnerving authenticity and passion. Her songs are stories, and she tells them in a voice all her own.
Saltwater Hank’s songs will take you on a journey from through the mountains of the Bulkey Valley to the Skeena, to the saltwater out west, down the coast and eastbound to the Kooteney’s. His stories are inspired by the people, the land and the water of the region he calls home.
Singing together is one of Blanding’s and Hank’s favourite things.
A one-woman band to be reckoned with, Britt delivers the raw goods, twisting and manipulating the signal of her guitar with loop and effect pedals to create engaging, riff-based songs with barbed hooks and experiential messages.
A road warrior by nature, Britt A.M. has played for audiences in all the major cities between Vancouver and St. John’s, as well as many small towns off the beaten path.
No highway is too desolate for Britt, as she continues to win over devotees with her mesmerizing, hard-hitting sound and inclusive, warm presence.
