Wendy MacIsaac & Troy MacGillivray

Wendy MacIsaac is a renowned fiddler, step dancer and piano player from Cape Breton. She is recognized as one of the “old school” style of players who kept the traditional sound going and has a deep respect for it.

Raised in Lanark, Nova Scotia, Troy MacGillivray’s prowess as a fiddler, step dancer and piano player can be attributed to a rare combination of commitment and bloodline. His music continues to add to the history and development of the traditional music of the Maritimes.
