Hi Jo. I was looking up contacts for P.G . looking to book a show for this fall as part of a cd release tour i.e. Artspace...and found the "coldsnap festival". PG was a regular stop in my touring a few years ago and I'm keen to connect again. I would like to be a part ofd the coldsnap festival..I have been a part of the Frostbite festival in Whitehorse a few times so I 've s till got good antifreeze(that's me trying to be funny) It would be a good opportunity to promote a coldsnap gig at a late Oct-Nov show in P.G. I'll be working on the new disc this summer so I could forward some new material as I get closer to completion. Anyways check out what I have on the site and hopefully I'm a good fit. Thanks Gerry

Hi there

My name is Adam Bulley and I play in a award winning guitar duo here in Scotland. I was wondering if you might be able to send me a contact address so we may be considered for future festivals?

Here is our biog for more info:

Kind regards

Adam

Wingin’ It are a fresh and dynamic duo, rapidly gaining attention on the Scottish music scene. Having won a ‘Danny Kyle’ award at Celtic Connections ’07, they have gone on to perform at festivals all over Scotland. Expect music from a wide range of styles, including Bluegrass, Folk, Jazz and Classical. Between them they have performed with world class artists such as Martin Taylor, Clive Carroll, John Goldie, Kris Drever and Lau.

‘they were a dazzling, jazzy, very funny, breath of fresh air. They left some traditionalist mouths hanging open, but the boys absolutely nailed it.’

Stuart Morrison, The Herald

‘Two as competent musicians as you could wish to find’

Mandolin.org

Dazzling interplay between guitar and mandolin and mesmerising jazzy riffs are the band's hallmark and they had the balls to knock out a fantastic acoustic version of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall" to a folkie crowd champing at the Fisher-bit - respect!

Tom Harland, Garden Sessions

'Mandolin/guitar duo 'Wingin' It!' delivered a fingerlicking blend of Americana and world music flavours'

Sue Wilson - Scotsman

"Two brilliant young guitarists. These guys really impressed me with their musicianship and stage presence. I think they're great."

Peter Chegwyn
Organiser, Gosport & Fareham Easter Festival
and Wickham Summer Festival (Hampshire)

Hi,

Is it to late to play at the 2010 lineup? If not we would love to be considered for the 2011 lineup. I am managing a band out of Vancouver, Canada called Louder than Love. They released there debut album in late October "Dark Days" and have been getting fantastic reviews. They have been playing and packing the local scene and the album has been getting great reviews from assorted publications. I have included their social media links below where music can be heard as well as press and media can be read. Thanks for your consideration.

Hey Jo! I'm Jesse O'Reilly (Singer/Guitarist) and form one half of the creative core of "A Fistful Of Dollars" (along side Kevin Bekevich - Singer/Bassist). We are an original Country Roots band from Southern (formerly northern) Alberta, who write tunes ranging in style from Outlaw, to alt, to more nashville country. Our performance schedual for the coming months is fairly busy and we are currently making plans for a Canadian/interprovincial tour. In addition, we are both in the process of recording a 6 song EP AND have a pending application for an album grant from the Alberta Foundation Of The Arts. We love the look and sound of your festival and are HIGHLY interested in performing if possible. Please consider us for this fine venue! Cheers!
